For AFP, Aquarium had the privilege of covering President Emmanuel Macron's high-profile visit to the remote Pacific islands of New Caledonia and Vanuatu. During this trip, the President engaged in important discussions with regional leaders focused on strengthening Indo-Pacific strategy, while also addressing the growing concerns surrounding climate change and its impact on coastal erosion in these vulnerable island nations.

The assignment provided an extraordinary opportunity to witness firsthand the challenges and resilience of the local communities, while also capturing moments of diplomacy, cultural exchange, and environmental awareness. It was a demanding journey, filled with long hours of coverage, but ultimately a deeply fulfilling one, as it allowed for rich storytelling through both images and experiences.
